Barony of Loch Salann Award Listing by Order

• Order of the Crystal of the Salt Wastes – An award given for outstanding service to the barony and its people. This award carries with it an Award of Arms.

• Order of the Fons Animae – An award given for diligence in instructing the populace and thus increasing their knowledge of the SCA and improving their courtly graces.

• Order of the Golden Reflection – An award given to those who, through their personal example while outside the barony, bring honor on the barony.

• List of Grace / Courtesy– Given to newcomers

• Order of the Crystal Heart – An award given by the Baroness and/or Baron to those who provide a shining example of courtesy and noble behavior. Also usually given out to thank the members of their populace who served them through their reign.

• Order of the Ermine & Gauntlet – An award given for excellence in learning and teaching the art of rapier fighting.

• Order of the Ermine & Quill – An award given for outstanding service to the barony and its populace.

• Order of the White Cygnet – Companion of the Young Gentles Nurturing Emerging Talent – An award given to baronial youth who display exemplary courtly graces.

• Order of the White Duck – Devoted and Unique Company of Keepers – An award given for notable service to the barony.

• Order of the White Falcon – Fighters Awarded for Laboring Toward Chivalry and Nobility – An award given for excellence in the learning and teaching of the fighting arts.

• Order of the White Lark – Laboring Artists Recognition Company – An award given for excellence in the arts and sciences.

• Order of the White Goose – An award given for excellence in the learning and teaching of archery.

• Order of the White Osprey – An award given for excellence in the learning and teaching of thrown weapons.

• Order of the White Loon – An award given to members who show outstanding effort in guiding and supporting new members.

• Order of the White Phoenix – Awarded to members who have returned after an absence or a member who has continued to play for many years and have received all awards in the Barony pertaining to their recognition but deserve recognition for continuing to do a great job. The Phoenix can be given multiple times.
