The Barony of Loch Salann is the Salt Lake City chapter of the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism). We are a branch of the Kingdom of Artemisia, which covers most of Utah, Idaho, Montana, and parts of Wyoming and Colorado. The Barony of Loch Salann’s main activities occur primarily in and around Salt Lake City, Utah. Our regional coverage includes the entire Salt Lake Valley, as well as Park City and Tooele. We regularly sponsor medieval oriented events, as well as monthly gatherings in which our members practice and enjoy the various medieval activities that interest them.

Baronage Selection Timeline and Polling Announcement
A polling on the question of a new baronage for the Barony of Loch Salann is ordered by Their Royal Majesties.
Letters of intent are due to Their Majesties, Heirs and Kingdom Seneschal by email no later than September 30, 2025. The barony has scheduled a Meet & Greet for October 20, 2025.
This polling will be conducted online during the period October 24-31, 2025 at this link. An alternate paper ballot may be obtained by contacting the kingdom seneschal at seneschal@artemsia.sca.org.
Participants in the polling must reside in the Barony of Loch Salann. Eligibility for participating in each polling will be determined by membership status and the zip code associated with your membership on the first day of the polling. Those participating are reminded to ensure their membership address is up to date before they poll.
