Duties of an Arts and Sciences Minister

The Minister of Arts and Sciences for our barony helps to coordinate activities that let people study and recreate the many aspects of the middle ages and encourage anybody in our barony who wants to further their understanding of our period of study. Our MoAS can help people find others who share their interests and have some expertise in many different fields of study, like sewing, cooking, playing musical instruments, or making illuminated manuscripts (among so many others.) The MoAS also helps to organize larger activities including classes, get togethers, or Arts and Sciences tournaments.

You can talk to the Minister of Arts and Sciences if you want to:

• Teach a class about something medieval

• Begin studying an aspect of the medieval period

• Host a competition or A&S display

• Find others who are studying the same thing as you
