Duties of an Exchequer

The Exchequer is the financial secretary for the barony. They keep track of the money coming in and out or coffers. The Exchequer makes sure that all of our money is used in accordance with the policies of our nation, kingdom, and the SCA. 

The Exchequer is also responsible for running the “Reeve’s Table” (sometimes also called “gate”) at SCA events. Here, the Exchequer and their helpers will collect your site fee and make sure all your membership permissions are in order.

• Get reimbursed for an approved purchase for the barony

• Get help figuring out an event budget

• Find out about previous money expenditures by the barony
