Unto the Barony of Loch Salann do Hoggar and Bronwyn send warmest greetings.
As we write this we have seen our way through the perils of winter and are past the mid-point to the Spring Equinox. We now prepare for War one again as it has reared its head in the south on the fields of Estrella and we find ourselves loading our provisions and preparing for battle, looking to join our fellow Artemisians on the fields of battle and in the displays of the arts and sciences of our great kingdom.
Looking forward we have word that a great Viking fleet makes its way to our lands in league with the saline swilling demon decapod to raid Lindisfarne. We call for aid from our brothers and sisters near and far, to defend our Barony and the Holy Island from this menace from the briny deep. Come and join us at, St. James Episcopal Church, 7486 Union Park Ave., Midvale, UT 84047 on Saturday, 7 March 2020 for the Barony of Loch Salann’s Defender’s Tournament.
The following weekend will be the 6 month anniversary of the ascension of Lakhan and Vigdis to the Gryphon Thrones and the Barony is pleased to host a party to celebrate their Reign; may it last exactly as long as it’s supposed to. We believe Their Highness’s will grace us with Their presence as well, so join us at the South Jordan Community Center, 10778 S. Redwood Rd., South Jordan, Utah to welcome them.
We are are in need of an Event Steward and Feast Steward for Solstice court for next December. If you are interested in helping please let the Seneschal and Us know.
There are several Officer positions opening up this year please check the “Help Wanted” section of the Questing Quill to see where your Barony needs you to serve or ask one of the Baronial Officers if they need a deputy. Many hands really do make light work and prevent burnout.
