Come one, come all to the Utah Renaissance Faire!
Come support the Barony of Loch Salann and the Province of Arrow’s Flight in our annual participation in the one and only official Utah Renaissance Faire! This year the dates are Friday, 23rd and Saturday 24th of August. Volunteers are needed Thursday evening for setting up the pavilions and tents, and then the demo runs Friday afternoon and evening and all day Saturday. Tear down will take place on Sunday morning/ afternoon.
We will be setting up our encampment, much like last year, to provide space for fighting aerics, arts and sciences displays, arts and sciences classes, field games, board games, photo booth, intro to armor class/ demo, and so much more! Add your skills to fun and volunteer now!
Come volunteer at least four hours of time with the SCA and get into the Faire for FREE! Share your projects, new and old; share of your learning of history, clothing, traditions, gaming, fighting, and show the Faire go-ers the best of what the SCA has to offer! We will have fighting demos every hour, on the hour, alternating with armored combat, rapier, and even youth fighting, if we have the volunteers available! Contact Gage Wilkinson for fencing volunteers, Conall Ua Doibhilén for heavy fighting volunteers, and Bastion Bees Brookheart for Youth combat volunteers.
For Arts and Sciences display and classes, contact Maysun al-Isfahaniyya (Andrea Balla) to volunteer to teach classes and show off your wonderful artwork!
