October allowed Us to bear witness of great chivalry and courtesy or many combatants and their entourages, as His Grace Floki once again earned the right to serve as undisputed leader of Artemisia. Vivat to Their Highnesses Floki and Gwen! The line of succession is secure!
November brings with it many great opportunities to revel, share your learning, and create The Dream! On the 3rd there is Toys for Tots in Arrows Flight, so we encourage all to come support the Province in the festivities and once again support the USMC by bringing a new toy donation along with your site fee! Help The Loch to retain the coveted Arrow’s Flight Sword by showering them with our generosity! Then on the 17th, is Kingdom Collegium in Silver Keep. Travel safely and return home to Us in one piece!
Are you interested in sharing with Us your views and suggestions to maintain the greatest Barony in the Knowne World? Join Us on Saturday, 17 November for the Populace Meeting. We will start at 12:00, noon, and We look forward to hearing your words, encouragement, and concerns. Please plan on attending so your voice can be heard on an official channel! Looking into December, join the Barony of 1000 Eyes for their Baronial Birthday on the 1st. Then, join us for our very own Solstice Court on the 8th!
Please note that we are now indoors for both fighters and archery practice. See our website and Facebook threads for more details, including classes to be taught at Fighter Practice when we are at the Veridian. We are at the Spearhead CrossFit in Holiday, while Archery is at Salt Lake Archery. Join us for these and guild meetings throughout the month to hone your skills and learn new things!
Officer Openings: We are currently looking for a Herald, and an Exchequer, while many offices seek deputies, such as the Deputies of the Chatelaine and Deputy Chancellor of the Exchequer, and we are seeking individuals willing to train as Marshals in Training for heavy, light, thrown weapons, and archery in order to make the running of events and practices easier for all! Thank you to all who have stepped up and continue to volunteer to be event stewards/ autocrats and let us know how best to support you!
Solstice is coming up faster than you can imagine! Not only is it the Barony’s 40th birthday, but come share with Us the passing of the Baronial Seats to Hogar and Bronwyn for their Investiture. HE Vigdis is the event steward! The event site is at Prophet Elias Church located at South Highland Drive, Holladay, Utah. This year our feast is sponsored by The Crystal Bloom under the mentorship of HE Johann Wolfblut! Please come ready to play games, dance, and revel with the best populous in the Kingdom! We are so excited to share the joy of the season with you and We hope to spend time getting to know each of your better!
