Unto the Most Ancient Barony of Loch Salann do We, Æylwin and Amanda, send greetings!
As the weather warms, may we all greet one another with warm hearts and share in the joy of friendship! After thoroughly enjoying the friendship and camaraderie from the Talon and Crescent War, my thoughts more frequently go to the coming camping season and outdoor activities. I look forward to sharing the campfire and a few of your favorite stories with all of you!
February has come and gone so quickly, but remaining are the happy thoughts of spending time with members of our wonderful barony and of the fair lands of Artemisia! We were blessed to attend the Mystery Even in Arrow’s Flight to share in their amazing hospitality and play fun games with our good cousins of Gryphon’s Lair, Asgierr & Allesandria, even accepting a challenge to play Dragon Board, a challenge we shall share with you very soon! We hosted a wonderful bardic night at our home in Southbridge Manor and look forward to doing so throughout the year. I want to revel in hearing your favorite stories and songs, so please consider joining us the last weekend of each month. Stay tuned for more details via our many modes of communication. With the coming of March, we see many opportunities to share the Dream with our cousins in the Kingdom: First, we will see Their Majesties, Ibrahim and Esther pass the crowns to Damon and Veronique at Coronation on the 2nd. Then, we shall have our very own Defenders Tourney on the 12th to find our next series of champions in heavy and rapier fighting, Arts and Science and much more! Plan to join us in West Jordan for this most exciting event! Finally, looking forward to April 2nd, we will find out who our next Prince and Princess shall be at Crown Tournament! We are currently looking for a new Captain for Thrown Weapons and all offices seek deputies, so please come and learn more about how the Barony operates by serving in this role! It’s a perfect way to make new friends and help plan for the success of us all! Baronial Forum is on Wednesday, the 9th at Southbridge Manor, so please come let us know your thoughts and hopes for fighter practice and voice any concerns you have to help make our Dream a vivid, fun, reality.
