Furthermore, my warrant as Seneschal for our wonderful Barony will be ending this November 2018. This opens a position of leadership in the Barony that is unique in its role. The Seneschal is the first officer for the Barony. They are the official representative of the Barony. The individual will act on behalf of the SCA, Corporation at the local level. The Seneschal’s Handbook at the SCA website can be reviewed for a more thorough overview. Note: the Handbook is written for Kingdom Seneschals but provides valuable information for local branch operation.
