All groups have moved to their winter quarters. Please refer to the Baronial webpage for more information www.lochsalann.org about locations, etc.

MOAS:
Planning for Collegium continues to move forward. It’s not too late to offer a class. Also, anyone who is willing to judge for the A&S competition please contact the MOAS through the Baronial webpage,
www.lochsalann.org. The University of Loch Salann has successfully held its first classes. See the FB page for further information about when and where those are being offered.

Chronicler:
The Questing Quill will be published 11/1/17. Its theme this quarter is accessories and garb. Pictures would be appreciated, but not required.

Chatelaine:
We continue to explore all possibilities for filling the Chatelaine office. Please contact me or Their Excellencies with any suggestions

Youth Office:
Update pending.

Updates on ongoing Baronial Business:

  • Some ideas for parameters for Baronial activities, like Dragon Hunt. Some financial support can be requested in advance. We’d like to follow the “100 mile” rule: avoid scheduling an activity on a day that conflicts with another activity/event within 100 miles. Individuals, households or guilds are welcome to plan these. As these are less formal than actual events, that paperwork isn’t needed. For the best coordination, and least confusion, please contact me if you are making plans: [email protected].

Updates on Events and Demos in the Planning Stages:

  • Heinrich Eisen will be coordinating with Zoolights this year at Hogle Zoo.

Other Business
As always, the official Baronial web page and the various unofficial FB pages are additional sources of information regarding the activities of the Barony.

Any member of the populace is welcome to attend the monthly Forum, which is held at 7 pm on the second Wednesday of the month, at Their Excellencies, 13575 S 1300 E, Draper. Next Forum will be November 8th, 2017.

Yours in Service,

Luveday de Salford – Seneschal
