Archers! And those interested in archery! We will be meeting OUTDOORS starting this Thursday from 6pm to 8pm (or whenever it gets too dark to shoot)! We are returning to our old site from last year. The owner is graciously providing us with bales for our targets, and he’s only going to charge $3 per person. There are a couple of things we need to go over, so please read this message in its entirety.
First off, location: 8775 Old Homestead Ln, West Jordan, UT 84088. I will include a picture of google maps, but here’s the directions: take your best route towards Old Bingham Highway in West Jordan. Travel west on Old Bingham Highway until it becomes a gravel road, follow the gravel road about .2 miles to the last house on the east side of the road. Parking will be on the west side of the road (you do have to cross a small bridge that spans a ditch.) Keep it to TEN MPH down that gravel road please.
Second: the owner is running a business and might have other customers show up from time to time. Do not block any entrances/roads.
Third: please try to bring exact change. We will probably not be bringing a bunch of cash to make change with. Also, this is an absolute: no money = no shooting. The owner will not always be there to count the number of people shooting and we don’t want to give him any reason to think that we’re shorting him. There’s a Smith’s less than 5 minutes down the street if you need cash.
Fourth: there is no public restroom. Again, there is a Smith’s just down the street if you need one (can be seen on the map). There is no garbage, pack out what you bring in.
Let’s make a strong showing this Thursday so that the owner can see it was worth it for him to move all his tractors and equipment to make space for us! Let’s get some Royal Rounds in!!
