Both days need all types of volunteers, rapier, heavy, unarmored combat, musicians, Arts and Sciences, medieval games and more!
Volunteers get in for FREE to the Faire!
This demo has has two parts:
First is the demo itself that we have Friday evening, the 25th, from 5 to 9 pm. Then we will have all day Saturday, the 26th, until 9 pm.
Folks can come and go as they please, but we ask that volunteers let us know when they can be there, so we can help coordinate fighting and other demo activities.
Part two of this demo is to help serve the feast, which is going to be cooked by Texas Smoke (private vendor who is taking care of all the cooking details, including liability, and no food handlers permit needed for volunteers!) Serving feast will be similar to, but simpler than serving a feast at an SCA event: low key and simply help schlepp things to and fro. All we need to do is show up and help out.
Feast is also free to anyone who volunteers to help serve the feast! So, if you come to the demo and help with feast, both site fee and feast are FREE!
Feast is served from 7 to 9 pm, both Friday and Saturday. For Friday evening we need 15 volunteers to help serve feast and Saturday evening we need 20 volunteers.
Also for the feast, we are invited to perform and teach during the feast. So, we are asking any bards, storytellers, musicians, magicians, etc. to let us know if they can perform and we will coordinate the schedule of performances for both the Friday and Saturday evening feasts.
