This year we want to try something different. We will have Three Categories for Champions of our Baronial Arts and Sciences.
Champion:
This is achieved by entering 3 items in 2 grand categories and having judges critique the items and give scores.
Youth Champion:
This category is for those 15 and Under. This is achieved by entering 3 items in 2 grand categories and having judges critique the items and give scores.
Defender of Arts and Sciences:
This is a new category! The Defender will be a person who has participated and enriched the Arts community of our Barony throughout the year through things like teaching, attending guild meetings, leading guilds, sharing knowledge and especially enthusiasm for the Arts and Sciences. To declare your intent to vie for this honor one must participate in the Artisans Showcase at Defender’s Tourney.
The Showcase is for anyone and everyone to display their body of work. All are encouraged to put forth their works for all to see and be enriched and inspired by. Documentation is encouraged but not required, however it would behoove you to sit with your entries so that the populace can ask questions. You may display as many items as you wish, please let the Minister of Arts and Sciences know what you will be displaying to ensure we have enough space for everyone.
