Unto the Most Ancient Barony of Loch Salann do We, Æylwin and Amanda, send greetings!
As the grand battle of Winter and Spring continues to amaze us with ever-changing weather, we are encouraged to look ahead to warm days and the joys of friendship with all of you! Come share with us the grand adventure and tell your tales of days of old while we prepare our armor and supplies for War!
March, too, seems to have come and gone in the blink of an eye, but let not your spirit falter, for coming soon are many opportunities to share with us The Dream! This month we were witness to the Coronation of our most noble and inspirational Majesties, Damon and Veronique, who, we are certain, shall lead our great kingdom to future glory while uplifting all areas of The Dream. Also this month, we celebrated with you, our ancient and honorable Barony, at the annual meeting of Defender’s Tournament. I was truly inspired by the chivalry, courtesy, demonstration of skills, Arts and Sciences, and more that showed verily how magnificent our populace is! We thank one and all for an amazing day and for allowing us to share it all with you. I saw many newcomers and was amazed to see the level of service rendered by our populace throughout the day! We are very proud to call each and every one of you ours, and we enjoy doing so, especially at courts as we speak of you to our cousins! We are truly inspired and humbled by the vast skills and talents you show the whole kingdom! Keep up the great work and show all who may see and hear what it means to be from Loch Salann!
With the coming of April, we shall bear witness to the new Heirs of our great Kingdom, as we attend Crown Tournament, hosted by our most noble and generous cousins of Arn Hold, Eagle ID, on the 2nd. Then, we shall have the opportunity to attend the Feast of Saint Pyre in the Shire of Cote de Ciel, Logan UT, on the 23rd, while wrapping up the month of April here in our very own lands as we host the Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium the 29th and 30th. Please, come one, come all to celebrate with us these amazing events and continue to build camaraderie and fond memories!
We are currently looking for a new Chronicler and a Youth Combat Marshal, while many offices seek deputies, so please come and learn more about how the Barony operates by serving in this role! It’s a perfect way to make new friends and help plan for the success of us all!
Also, remember to join us, if you are able, in supporting the Viridian Center during the showing of the Princess Bride on Monday, April 18th, at 5:15 p.m.
