“Shall we play a game?”
With the warring Kingdoms of Caid, Atenvelt, and Outlands to our south and east, and the upstart Kingdom of Avacal to the north, looking to make a name for themselves, Their Royal Majesties, Daman and Veronique, have commanded that all Baronies make their armies’ ready for WAR at a moment’s notice. As such, the Barony of Loch Salann will in August be hosting Barons’ WarGames. The games will be hosted at Curlew Campground, between Snowville, Utah and Malad, Idaho. The site will open the afternoon of Thursday the 4th for those who wish to establish an early presence. Site will remain open till the morning of Sunday the 7th.
Friendly competition will be held between groups. Everyone is welcome and everyone will have a chance to contribute. Points will be awarded for heavy combat including the infamous “Battle of Five” and light fighting melee. Points will also be awarded for Arts and Sciences, archery, thrown weapons, children’s activities, service and even night time revelry games (aka grownups acting like children). If you leave without having a good time, than you slept the whole event.
The site is next to a reservoir, so keep an eye on your children (they’ll be having too much fun to get into trouble anyway). Any members of the populace whose children are unattended by the water will be asked to leave. We wish this to be a safe and enjoyable weekend for all!
Handicap camping is available. Water is available on site. Pets are allowed as long as they are on a leash and please clean up after them. There will be No RV camping available on- site but there is an RV park close by for those who are interested. Please speak with the autocrat for more information.
We are sorry but there are no horses allowed, but as a compromise this site is wet (please drink responsibly)!

Site is a short distance from Tremonton UT for those who may desire hotel space.
Camp rules require quiet after 10pm. Please plan according.
Site fee:
Adults 18 and older: $23 for the weekend
$20 for day trip ($5 member discount with proof of membership)
Children 17 and younger: Guests of the Barony of Loch Salann (free)

Dinner Fundraiser:
Let the Barony of Loch Salann cook dinner Friday night! BLS will be hosting a burger burn. For $4 you will get a hamburger and chips. Drinks will be available for an additional $1 (any proceeds will be donated to the Kingdom General fund). We will have veggie burgers available for those who prefer them.
Party Time:
Saturday is bonfire night at Baron’s war. Count Raven will be hosting a party at the fire near the Grand Pavilion. Play games by the fire light and stay warm inside and out!

Directions:
From the South or West\
Take the Snowville, Utah, exit off Interstate 84, northwest of Tremonton. Continue north on the paved highway for 6.5 miles. Turn left (north) at the Curlew Campground sign, then go another half-mile on a gravel road to the campground.
OR
From the North
From Holbrook, Idaho, travel 24 miles west of Malad and continue south for 7.5 miles on the paved highway. Turn right (west) following the same highway and go almost 2 miles to the Curlew Campground turnoff. Turn right (north) on gravel road and go a half-mile to the campground.
